Jackson had found the right mood to mark the passing of an American icon. Three years later, when he ran for President of the United States, Jackson was carrying on the revolution Joe Louis had begun. And as it happened, he carried a part of the champion with him as well. His parents had named him Jesse Louis Jackson.
