Terri (top, left), Christine and Patty (top, right), 16, are identical triplets who are seeded No. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, in the girls' 16s of the Eastern Tennis Association. Terri, the middle triplet, recently beat younger (by 15 minutes) sister Christine 6-4, 6-3 in the finals of the national caliber Port Washington (N.Y.) Winter Classic, one round after eliminating older (by 14 minutes) sister Patty in the semis. Last November, Terri and Christine won their age-group national indoor doubles title, defeating Patty, the only lefty among the triplets, and Holly Danforth 6-4, 6-2 in the semis. Formerly active in softball, basketball and swimming, the sisters have been invited to the Olympic Tennis Trials, which will be held later this month.

Kraychir, a senior at USC, had a righthanded toss of 178' and a left-handed throw of 146'6" to set an ambidextrous discus-throwing Guinness world record. His combined total of 324'6" broke Fortune Gordien's 1954 best of 305'10".

Watson, 62, is believed to have won more basketball games, 1,149, including both boys' and girls' teams, than any other active high school coach. In his 26 years at Terrell's Bay High, his girls have gone 572-282; his boys, 577-260.

GREG BUCHANAN
LEXINGTON, KY.
Greg, a senior at Lafayette High, won all six events and the all-around title at the state gymnastics championships, beating nearest rival Joe Schneider of Tates Creek High 46 to 39.65. Greg finished third overall last year.
