KIRSTEN KRONER VALLEJO, CALIF. Kirsten, 12, the only girl on the East Vallejo Little League All-Star team, hit .522 and had a 7-2 record with a 2.07 ERA while leading Frailer City to the league title. She also pitched a no-hitter and hit three homers in one tournament game.

Kirsten, 12, the only girl on the East Vallejo Little League All-Star team, hit .522 and had a 7-2 record with a 2.07 ERA while leading Frailer City to the league title. She also pitched a no-hitter and hit three homers in one tournament game.

WILLIAM D'AVANZO
MINEOLA, N.Y.
D'Avanzo, 56, a public-works superintendent, shot two holes in one in an 18-hole round at the St. George's Golf and Country Club. He aced the 181-yard 7th hole with a four-wood, and the 122-yard 17th with a seven-iron.

DAVE FRICK
MONESSEN, PA.
Dave, a recent graduate of Monongahela Valley Catholic High, succeeded on all 98 of his stolen-base attempts during a three-year varsity career. The centerfielder, whose total is the fourth highest on record for a high-schooler, also hit .344.

MARIA SHOUP
CUSTER, MICH.
Maria, a June graduate of Mason County Eastern High, won a Michigan-record 10 individual state Class D track and field titles in four years. She set six state marks, including two in 1981: in the long jump (18'5") and 200-meter low hurdles (28.9).

ROGER BLAD
BURNSVILLE, MINN.
Blad, a 34-year-old route supervisor for a soft-drink company, rolled three 300 games and two 800 series during 12 consecutive games in a match series at Drkula's 32 Bowl. His 12-game total of 3,012 is the second highest in ABC history.

TERRI TAYLOR
SYRACUSE, N.Y.
Taylor, in her first season at Onondaga Community College, was the winning pitcher in 29 of the fast-pitch Braves' 33 victories. She had 15 shutouts and five no-hitters, including two perfect games. She had pitched only four innings in high school.
