Koho, a freshman at Guilford ( N.C.) College, won 24 consecutive tennis matches for the Quakers this season without the loss of a set. At the NAIA District 26 tournament, she won the singles championship and was named MVP.

Wilson, a 6'4" sophomore forward, and Webb, a 5'6" freshman guard, averaged 24.3 and 20.5 points a game, respectively, to lead Midland ( Texas) College to a 34-4 record and the national junior college basketball championship. Wilson, the MVP of the national tournament, has accepted a grant-in-aid from Arizona for next fall. Webb scored a game-high 36 points in Midland's 93-88 win over Miami Dade-North in the title game and despite his size had about 40 dunks this season.

CLEMENTE ALVEAR
QUEENS, N.Y.
Clemente, who is a senior righthander at Bryant High, struck out 20 batters in pitching a seven-inning 11-0 no-hit victory over Queens Vocational. For the season Clemente has a 3-1 record, with 57 strikeouts in 30 innings.

Philip, a senior at Spruce Creek High, won the Florida high school 220-pound-class weightlifting title with a bench press of 395 pounds and a clean and jerk of 335 pounds. His combined lift of 730 pounds is the best ever by a Florida high-schooler.

Geoghegan, a lawyer, became the first 40-year-old to swim the 100-yard freestyle in less than 50 seconds (49.73), at the Eastern Regional Masters meet in Bridgewater, N.J. He shattered his own one-week-old age-group (40-44) record of 50.53.
