Krumrine, a 6'3" junior center at Franklin and Marshall, went 13 for 13 from the field in a 78-45 win over Gettysburg College to set a Division III women's basketball single-game record for consecutive field goals. Dodge, a 5'9" senior forward at Quinnipiac College, made 10 of 12 three-pointers in a 86-73 loss to the University of New Haven to set a Division II women's mark for most three-pointers in a game and tie the women's collegiate record of nine consecutive treys.
Kaiser, a senior at Missouri, set a women's collegiate indoor record in the 400-meter dash with a clocking of 51.92, at the NCAA championships. She broke by .47 the mark she established last month and missed the American record by .15.
Gary, a senior at Marysville-Pilchuck High, beat Maurice Handcox of Kamiakin High 14-9 to win the class AAA 168-pound wrestling title. His 125-4 record includes titles in four weight classes in three different states.
Roach, 70, set a world record in the women's 20-pound-test-line class when she landed a 68-pound, 5-ounce cubera snapper in Tortuguero Bay, Costa Rica. Thirty years ago she caught a 103-pound tarpon, which was then a world record.
