HAS THE Jessica Simpson Curse again reared its head? Simpson and her boyfriend, Cowboys QB Tony Romo (below), attended their first Mavs game in Dallas and saw the Lakers snap the Mavs' five-game winning streak. "I live in L.A., so I'm a little torn," said Simpson during the game. "But I want [Tony] to be in a good mood tonight." ... Warriors guard and movie producer Baron Davis walked into a lounge at the Sofitel Hotel in L.A. last week to find a surprise birthday party for him—he turns 29 on April 13. Among the attendees: teammates Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis, friend Cash Warren with pregnant girlfriend Jessica Alba, actress Gabrielle Union and NFL stars including Reggie Bush and Chad Johnson. "I'm totally awestruck," Davis told SI at the party. "I really feel the love from everyone here tonight." ... Terry Bradshaw is working with writers on a 90-minute stand-up routine about his life that he hopes will be as successful as Billy Crystal's one-man Broadway show, 700 Sundays. "The difference is, Billy Crystal is a Jewish comedian who loves baseball," Bradshaw tells SI. "I'm a Baptist who loves football."
