Mount Whittier, West Ossipee, N.H.: new area has 2,000-foot overhead cable lift serving two trails, one open slope.
Roxbury Ski Center, Vega, N.Y.: new area scheduled to open Jan. 1 with 2,000-foot T bar, 700-foot rise and 800 capacity, services five trails; also new lodge.
Princeton Ski Bowl, Prattsville, N.Y.: 3,000-foot Bearpen Run opened with 605-foot drop; lodge and rope tow added.
Belleayre Mt., N.Y.: 3,000-foot T bar with 800-foot vertical rise and 720 capacity scheduled for completion Jan. 1. Onteora and Utsayantha trails have been extended 1,000 feet to summit. $150,000 spent on improvements.

Manoir St. Castin, Lac Beauport, Quebec: 2,500-foot Constam T bar (runs parallel to old T bar), 500-foot rise, has 850 capacity; $50,000 spent in improvements.
Sun valley Hotel Suisse, Ste. Adele, Quebec: 1,900-foot T bar, begins 50 feet from hotel, rises 500 feet, 550 capacity, services 10 new slopes; cost $20,000.
Burke Mt., East Burke, Vt.: 4,880-foot Pomalift with 1,520-foot vertical rise, capacity 575.
Jay Peak, North Troy, Vt.: 1,810-foot Pomalift with 540-foot vertical rise and 800-per-hour capacity services practice slope 1,800 feet long and 200 feet wide.
