Trapp, a freshman at Clemson, won the 100-(10.12) and the 200-meter (20.61) dashes and ran on the Tigers' victorious 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams in leading Clemson to its second consecutive ACC outdoor track and field championship.
Collinson, a junior at Roanoke College, scored seven goals, including the game-winner with one second left to play, as the Maroons defeated Lynchburg College 12-11 to win the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's lacrosse title.

Wilson, 63, a hospital fund-raiser, set a world masters swimming record for the 60-64 age group with a time of 21:46.98 in the 1,500-meter freestyle. He also holds world marks for his age group in the 800 freestyle and the 100 butterfly.
Anthony, 18, a senior at Nazareth High, broke the 29-year-old school shot-put record with a throw of 50' 3". He also had a 30-7 record for the Blue Eagles' wrestling team and rushed for 752 yards and 10 touchdowns as a football fullback.
Weibert, a freshman at Cedarville ( Ohio) College, pitched two softball no-hitters in two days. She had a six-inning perfect game in beating Shawnee ( Ohio) State 10-0 and allowed no hits, and fanned 16 in a 2-1 win over Wilmington ( Ohio) College.

C.J., now 12, won an unprecedented third straight national Elks Hoop Shoot age-group free throw contest. He was 122 for 125 in the competition, including 23 of 25 in the finals. He shot 115 for 125 and 113 for 125 in winning his other two titles.
