Players Of The Week

OFFENSE
UCLA junior wideout J.J. Stokes caught 10 passes for 190 yards and equaled a Pac-10 record for TD catches in a game, with four, in a 39-25 victory over Washington.

DEFENSE
Mike Williams, a senior linebacker at Illinois State, intercepted three passes and returned one 15 yards for a TD to lead the Redbirds to a 27-3 win over Indiana State.

SMALL COLLEGES
Donovan Johnson, a cornerback for Division II Fort Hays ( Kans.) State, had two interceptions and scored on a 62-yard fumble return in a 30-15 defeat of Adams State.
