Players Of The Week

OFFENSE
Scott Crabtree, a senior quarterback at Northern Illinois, completed 11 of 15 passes for 340 yards and live touchdowns to lead the Huskies to a 46-42 win over Nevada.

DEFENSE
UCLA safety Marvin Goodwin recovered two fumbles, one of which he returned 36 yards for a TD, and had an interception and four tackles in a 28-25 upset of Stanford.

SMALL COLLEGES
Safety Jeff Wall, a junior at Nebraska Wesleyan, made four interceptions in a 40-25 defeat of Northwestern College of Iowa, the nth-ranked team in NAIA's Division II.
