Track and Field
Taylor, a senior at Ohio State, set an American collegiate record in the weight throw with a toss of 76' 2¼" at the Buckeye Invitational. A week later he took first place in the weight throw and shot put at the Kentucky Invitational.

Kelley Anderson, JACKSON, WYO.
Skiing
Kelley, a junior and a slalom skier at Jackson Hole High, extended her state-record winning streak in the slalom and giant slalom to 28 races. She is undefeated this season in four races and was the 2003 state champion in the slalom and giant slalom.

Chris Wingert, BABYLON, N.Y.
Soccer
Wingert, a graduate of St. John's, is the first player in Division I to win the MAC. Hermann Trophy and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar-Athlete Award in the same season. He was the 12th selection overall in the Major League Soccer draft.

Susana Cornejo, ABERDEEN, IDAHO
Basketball
Susana, a senior guard at Aberdeen High, scored 48 points in a victory over Wyoming Indian High to break her state's girls' high school single-game scoring record. She leads the Tigers in points (24.0), rebounds (9.0) and assists (4.0) per game.

Jeff Byers, LOVELAND, COLO.
Football
Jeff, a senior center at Loveland High, is the first lineman to be named Gatorade National High School Player of the Year. He played both ways, not allowing a sack in three years as a starter on offense and, on defense, making 97 solo tackles last season.

Lauren Delaney, JEFFERSON CITY, MO.
Softball
Lauren, a sophomore righthander at Helias High, threw four consecutive no-hitters in the state tournament, including a perfect game to win Missouri's Class 4 championship. She finished the fall season with a 20-0 record and an 0.09 ERA

Edwin Ofori-Attah, DAVIDSON, N.C
Basketball
Edwin, a senior guard at Statesville Christian High, scored 71 points in a victory over Hickory Grove Christian to break the state's high school single-game scoring record. He leads the Lions in points (29.2) and rebounds (8.0) per game.
