The rookie out of Delaware has started every game.

Dan Patrick: Do you still feel like a rookie?

Joe Flacco: We're deep into the season now, and I've been through situations, so no.

DP: But does your voice ever squeak in the huddle, when you're calling a play?

JF: Oh yeah. All kinds of things happen, stuttering, asking guys for help. . . .

DP: Wait. Why are you stuttering?

JF: The plays can run long, you start talking fast, and it doesn't come out right. And sometimes you walk up to the line and you're like, what did I just call? It's happened to everybody, they've gone up to the line and asked the right guard, What did I just call?

DP: Do you text other rookie quarterbacks?

JF: No. I'm not a big texter. I don't really communicate too well with others.
