Grace Tinkey

Macon, GA. -- Cross-country

Grace, an eighth-grader at First Presbyterian Day School, has won all nine high school varsity meets she has entered and set two course records. Her best 5K time, 18:45, ranks fourth nationally among eighth-graders. She was the first of 464 female runners to finish the Macon Labor Day 5K Road Race.

West Chicago, Ill. -- Soccer

Burke, 51, the men's soccer coach at Judson, became the alltime NAIA wins leader when the Eagles defeated Trinity International 1-0; he has a 442-135-32 record in 25 seasons. His teams have won 14 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference titles and five National Christian Championships.

Chantae Miller

East Amherst, N.Y. -- Field Hockey

Miller, a freshman forward at No. 11 Michigan State, leads her team with four game-winning goals, and was ranked 25th nationally in points per game through Oct. 19. At Williamsville North High she set a national record for career assists and is the only high school player to pass 100 goals (148) and 100 assists (135).
