Joey Logano (right) may not have dazzled in his first Cup race, on Sunday at Loudon, N.H., but that doesn't mean his 32nd-place finish was without merit. The 18-year-old prodigy finished without causing—or getting caught up in—a wreck (though he did suffer a pit road mishap when he drove off with a jack still attached to his car). "I'm sure other people were putting pressures on him," said Wally Brown of Joe Gibbs Racing, who has worked closely with Logano since early 2007, "but he just needed to run a smart race and finish." For his part Logano seemed to be coming to terms with driving in the Big Show. "There's a lot of give-and-take out there," said Logano, who will run five more Cup races this season and go full-time in '09. "A lot of take—believe me."
