1 Tennessee (3--7) hit rocky bottom last weekend, losing at home to Wyoming (4--6) five days after ousting 17-year coach Phillip Fulmer. The school should go after Texas Tech's Mike Leach; the eccentric Red Raiders coach spent time in the SEC as an assistant at Kentucky in 1997 and '98.

2 Iowa not only knocked off undefeated Penn State, it may have saved coach Kirk Ferentz's job. If the 6--4 Hawkeyes can close out with wins against Purdue and Minnesota, they'll likely play in a New Year's Day bowl.

3 Don't be surprised if Cincinnati (7--2) takes the Big East. After taking down West Virginia, the Bearcats are in a three-way tie for first with the Mountaineers and Pittsburgh. Cincinnati has a home game against Pitt on Nov. 22.
