Kelsey, a freshman righthander at Blue Springs High, had a record of 30--0 with an 0.40 ERA. She threw eight no-hitters—including three perfect games—and allowed only 11 runs for the Missouri Class 4A state champion Wildcats. She was named first-team All--Metro Missouri.

Garrett, a senior quarterback at Lake Travis High who has committed to Texas, was named Gatorade National Football Player of the Year. He completed 256 of 372 passes for 4,231 yards and 48 TDs this season, and he led the 14--0 Cavaliers to the Class 4A state title.

S�O PAULO > Volleyball
Julio, a senior opposite hitter at Fresno Pacific, helped the Sunbirds to a 140--4 record during her career and this season held the No. 1 ranking in hitting percentage in the NAIA for 26 straight weeks. She hit .421 with 29 kills in the NAIA championship final and was named the tournament's MVP.

Kyle Koetje
STANWOOD, WASH. > Tennis
Kyle, a senior at Stanwood High, finished the year 16--0, bringing his career record for the Spartans to 64--7. He was named the MVP of the Western Conference North Division and will enter the Class 4A state tournament in the spring as the No. 2 seed.

Allison Kreutzer
LILBURN, GA. > Cross-country
Kreutzer, a senior at Clayton State, won the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals with a 6-km time of 22:24; it was her seventh consecutive win, and it followed her second straight Peach Belt Conference title. At the D-II championships she was the second finisher from the Southeast.
