Sinead Kerr hoisted John Kerr last Thursday at the European Figure Skating Championships in Helsinki, where the British siblings finished third in the ice dancing competition. On Saturday, Charlie White lifted Meryl Davis (inset) on their way to victory in the same event at the U.S. championships in Cleveland (page 56).

Down Underspin
The peloton sped in formation from Unley to Victor Harbor, Australia, on Jan. 22 in the third stage of the Tour Down Under, during which Lance Armstrong (inset) made his return to pro cycling after a 3 �-year retirement. The race ended on Sunday with the 37-year-old Armstrong in 29th place, 49 seconds behind winner Allan Davis of Australia.
