TIGER WOODS is the
best-known golfer on the planet, but after him, who rates? Created by
Davie-Brown Talent, the Davie-Brown Index (DBI) measures how celebrities are
perceived, taking into account such factors as trust, influence, relevance and
appeal. The DBI includes more than 1,500 celebs but only six golfers. Here's
how they rank, including GOLF PLUS's own take based on the same criteria.

Breakups are hard
for any teenager, but the normally emotional Morgan Pressel seemed to handle
her first as a pro reasonably well. During a practice round on July 3, the
18-year-old parted company with Sam Hinshaw, her caddie of the last year, on
the 10th hole. Peeved that Pressel had allowed local loopers to tag along and
offer advice, Hinshaw walked off. "The decision was mutual," said
Pressel without a trace of bitterness. She teamed with club caddie Brian
McKinley to reach the fourth round, where she lost to Paula Creamer 3 and 1.
