Maria Grevsgaard
GELIO, NORWAY > Cross-country Skiing
Grevsgaard, a senior at Colorado, won the 10K freestyle race at the Denver Invitational by 48 seconds with a time of 32:10.1. It was the reigning NCAA freestyle and classical champion's fourth straight victory and the 24th of her college career, including 15 in freestyle.

Timothy Kirk
SECANE, PA. > Wrestling
Timothy, a junior at Ridley Senior High who wrestles in the 119-pound class, had a pin time of four seconds at the Ridley Duals. According to Wrestling USA Magazine, he tied the national high school record for the fastest pin in the 116- to 120-pound range.

Jennifer Conway
WATERLOO, ILL. > Basketball
Jennifer, a senior forward at Waterloo High, surpassed 1,700 career points and 900 rebounds in a 70--51 loss to Highland. The 6-footer is the school's alltime leader in those two categories as well as in career blocks (382). She will attend NCAA Division II Truman State in the fall.

Casey Sandy
BRAMPTON, ONT. > Gymnastics
Sandy, a senior at Penn State, was named the Big Ten gymnast of the week for a record eighth time after winning a career-best five of the six individual events in a conference meet at Minnesota. He took the individual all-around title with a combined score of 89.05 points and a winning margin of 4.20.

Kelli Stack
BROOKYLN HEIGHTS, OHIO > Ice Hockey
Stack, a junior center at Boston College, scored a short-handed goal with 9:51 to play, giving the Eagles a 1--0 victory over Harvard in the women's final of the Beanpot Tournament. Stack had two goals and one assist in two games to earn MVP honors. It was BC's third Beanpot championship in four years.
