DON'T LIE

Fewest innings that either righthanders Brandon Webb, 29, or Dan Haren, 28, have pitched in the last four seasons. Webb, the NL Cy Young winner in '06 and runner-up in each of the next two seasons, and Haren, who had an outstanding 5-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio in '08, will take some of the heat off a bullpen in transition following the off-season departures of closer Brandon Lyon and Juan Cruz, the team's best reliever last year.
