IT: It was definitely out of the blue. I was looking to get into college basketball, but I hadn't thought about FIU.

DP: How do you rebound after what happened with the Knicks?

IT: You just get back up and you start doing it.

DP: But you're not used to failure. That has to be humbling.

IT: Well, it's definitely humbling when you fail. I tried as hard as any human being could possibly try to win in New York. I gave it everything that I could give, and I didn't succeed. I, like many others, have failed there.

DP: What do you hope to accomplish as a college coach?

IT: I want to make sure that all our kids are educated. You teach them the correct way to play basketball and you turn out gentlemen.

DP: If I'm a parent and you come to talk to my kid, is there anything I can't ask you?

IT: No.

DP: So if I say, "Did you try to commit suicide, what is your mental health, how are you feeling?"
