ENEMY LINES
WHAT A RIVAL COACH SAYS
"Aaron Rodgers had a great first half of 2008. Injuries to his offensive line hurt his production in the second half. But with his full line intact this season, his numbers will pick up.... Last year Ryan Grant [below] had some injuries and was off and on. We'll see some great things from him.... Brandon Jackson and DeShawn Wynn are just spot players.... Greg Jennings can't be covered one-on-one. His numbers were down a little bit from '07 because of the different coverages he saw, but he's going to score.... Donald Driver will lead the division in catches every year because he's always the quarterback's hot read and the third-down guy.... Jordy Nelson fits well into what they do, running screens and stuff.... Before he hurt his right knee, James Jones was doing a great job.... Donald Lee did well catching some balls last year until the team suffered some injuries."

ANALYZING THE OFFENSE
THE BREAKDOWN
HOW THEY RUN
Whether the locals like it or not, coach Mike McCarthy is sticking with his zone-running version of the West Coast offense in '09, which mostly keeps Ryan Grant between the tackles on first and second downs while using quicker (as opposed to more powerful) linemen to pave the way. That's been a prickly issue the last two years, as the Packers have struggled to move the ball inside their opponent's 20-yard line. During McCarthy's tenure the Packers have had the league's second-lowest rushing average per carry and rank 27th in rushing touchdowns inside the red zone.
