No player will be more motivated than Tom Brady. He will pick up where he left off in '07.

Steve Slaton isn't the best-known back, but he's quietly building a résumé. Expect 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Don't expect Kerry Collins to be strong again. Either INTs or Vince Young will have him on the bench.

The Broncos have a long history of productive RBs, and Knowshon Moreno will make an immediate impact.

The pounding has finally caught up with one of the era's great backs, LaDainian Tomlinson. Draft him with caution.

We have seen LaDainian Tomlinson's peak. Expect 985 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.

Matt Ryan has a new toy in Tony Gonzalez. He will be a factor in both the middle of the field and in the red zone.

Lance Moore was good, even spectacular at times in '08, but he tailed off when Marques Colston returned.

With 77 catches and six TDs in '08 Dallas Clark is always a threat. Draft him and enjoy the production.

Raiders rookie Darrius Heyward-Bey will be impressive in '09. I think he'll get more than 1,000 yards receiving.

Drew Brees passed for more than 5,000 yards in '08 despite injuries to key players. Just imagine if the Saints stay healthy.

The rookie WRs will not beat out Domenik Hixon as the Giants' top receiver.

Jonathan Stewart stole carries from DeAngelo Williams last season as a Carolina rookie and could take even more in '09.

New coach Josh McDaniels used his first pick on Knowshon Moreno, and the running back will live up to the hype.

Hobbled for much of '08, Willis McGahee had a career low in rushing yards (671); then he had ankle surgery.

He's not the same player, but he still knows how to find the end zone. I think he'll have 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The Bears have long searched for a QB capable of cutting through the Soldier Field wind, and Jay Cutler is that man.

He's unhappy with his contract, and the Jets will use a committee of running backs, so Thomas Jones will not be a star again.

Without Marvin Harrison, Peyton Manning will rely on Dallas Clark. He'll be the second option after Reggie Wayne.

Trent Edwards will make Terrell Owens his best friend, which means huge increases in yards and touchdowns.

Even at 230 pounds Adrian Peterson will run wild, especially if the Vikings get good play at quarterback.

If Anquan Boldin is gone, Steve Breaston will benefit from the double coverage that Larry Fitzgerald gets.

Matt Cassel lost an All-Pro tight end, and he has only one proven wideout, a flighty RB and a leaky offensive line.

Josh McDaniels wants to keep pressure off the QBs and improve red-zone efficiency. Knowshon Moreno will do that.

The number of games played has decreased every year for Reggie Bush. This is a high risk-reward selection.

He's healthy, he has a chip on his shoulder, and Shawne Merriman returns on defense, so: 1,500 yards and 17 TDs.

The best pickup is Tony Gonzalez to the Falcons. He's another weapon for Matt Ryan, who knows how to use the tight end.

The Bucs want to play rookie quarterback Josh Freeman, and that doesn't bode well for receiver Antonio Bryant.

Several 49ers officials have offered to bet me that Vernon Davis will earn a spot in the Pro Bowl.

The people who pass on LaDainian Tomlinson in their drafts will rue the decision.

If the Saints' D improves with a new coordinator, Drew Brees will throw more TDs than in '08.

Kyle Orton will set new career highs in every major statistical category, thanks to a new coach and a new offense.

He has never put together consecutive stellar seasons, so it's a good bet to expect a letdown from Chad Pennington.

He's headed to the perfect team with a veteran offense, so running back Donald Brown should have a great season.

Aside from '08, injuries have been a problem for Donovan McNabb, so a breakdown is likely in '09.

Reports of his demise have been exaggerated. He'll crack 1,100 yards and score nine rushing TDs.

Fred Taylor is an 11-year veteran and a complementary back who will end up leading New England in rushing.

Don't count on LenDale White for another 15 rushing TDs. His career has peaked.

Owen Daniels will improve on his 70-catch, two-TD effort in '08, and he's still developing as a weapon.

Rookie receiver Ramses Barden will lead the Giants in receptions, and people will say, "Plaxico who?"

In my opinion the game's most talented and most explosive player is Adrian Peterson. It's as simple as that.

I love the flashes that Felix Jones showed last year. Expect Dallas to work him into the attack more this season.

Even a stud such as Jay Cutler needs someone to throw to, and this QB doesn't have anyone.

Denver needs to sort through its RB options, but Knowshon Moreno will be featured by October.

He's worth a No. 1 pick, sure, but Adrian Peterson's no-holds-barred running style scares the daylights out of me.

I love this guy, but age and nagging injuries are catching up to LT. I predict 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Now that he's paired with the best young QB in the game, Tony Gonzalez's numbers will improve.

He's a legitimate talent, but don't expect Michael Turner to have the same kind of numbers as he did last season.

He had the yards last year, and Chris Cooley of the Redskins should get some touchdowns as well in '09.

One more season for Brett Favre! He has the ability to pass for another 3,500 yards and throw 25 TDs.
