Did you hear the rumor about Mark Bradley? He's demanding a trade to...the Chiefs' second team. All kidding aside, he owes a good chunk of his '08 mini-breakout to former starter and current second-team QB Tyler Thigpen. He'll have to find a similar on-field chemistry with new QB Matt Cassel, which won't come easily. In other words, he's nothing more than a 500-yard, four-TD threat at best.

[ON THE DECLINE] It'd be easy to write off '08 as a fluke for the borderline Hall of Famer, but given his age and history of knee problems, it's hard to envision a statistical resurgence. And if he had anything left, why did this free agent last so long on the open market? One more thing: Holt hasn't posted 100-plus yards in a game on natural grass—the Jaguars' playing surface—since Sept. 24, 2006. Stay away.

Chambers may be on the wrong side of 30 and supplanted by Vincent Jackson as the Bolts' best WR, but he has an ace in the hole for hunch-playing fantasy owners: In odd-numbered years he's averaging 65 catches, 984 yards and 8 TDs a season. Unfortunately, that's the best recommendation for Chambers available.

In May, Crayton was running with the first team opposite Roy Williams, but don't let that fool you. Even though Crayton has the best hands on the team, the younger, faster Miles Austin is a serious threat to start over him. That would render Crayton virtually fantasy-irrelevant, so keep an eye on the preseason. But even if he does start, he's not much of big-play threat.

Many will expect this first-round pick to step in and produce Plaxico Burress-type numbers. But he'll have plenty of competition for playing time on the outside from veterans Domenik Hixon and Mario Manningham and fellow rookie Ramses Barden. Watch Nicks through training camp, because a strong summer could mean he would be a fantasy contributor as a rookie WR.
