A six-time NHL scoring leader, three-time MVP, Rookie of the Year and two-time Conn Smythe Trophy winner, number 66 made miraculous comebacks from Hodgkin's disease and multiple back injuries and, as an encore, bought the team and saved it from bankruptcy in September 1999.

226 wins, .584 winning percentage, 3.27 goals-against average, .895 save percentage

Barrasso earned more wins for the Pens than the second and third goaltenders on the team's alltime list combined and is the franchise leader with 22 career shutouts. He backstopped runs to the Stanley Cup in 1991 and '92 and overall was 56-42 in postseason games.

Coffey is Pittsburgh's alltime top scoring blueliner, even though he spent just five of his 21 seasons as a Penguin. A key contributor to the 1991 Stanley Cup, the Hall of Famer set Penguins single-season and career records for goals, assists and points by a defenseman.

One of the most popular Penguins, Francis was perhaps the best second-line center in the NHL in the 1990s and an integral part of two title teams. His leadership and hustle earned him the team captaincy during Mario Lemieux's absences.
