SI's fearless NFL expert opines on all the latest news, buzz and inside information. This is just a taste of what you'll get online.

1 I think Thomas Jones's 210 yards rushing, the best in team history, should be more than just a footnote. But the Jets were so bad against Buffalo (15 penalties, five picks by Mark "the Sanchize" Sanchez, and they let the Bills and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick hang around for a 16--13 overtime win) that I can't muster up much for Jones (below).

2 I think I'd like more football analysis from Fox's NFL pregame show. The endless har-har-har totally obscures the football knowledge of the entire panel. When asked to comment on the pathetic Raiders, Howie Long joked about how it would be easier to fix America's health-care problem. That was it. If Long's not going to give criticism about his former team, then why ask the question?

3 I think if you thought Cleveland's ball-dropping problems ended with the trade of Braylon Edwards, you were dead wrong. The Browns have had 11 drops in the two games since Edwards was traded two weeks ago.
