The Road To The Gold

TEAM CANADA'S 2010 ROSTER CAME FROM NEAR AND FAR TO STAKE ITS CLAIM AT THE GAMES

THEY HAIL FROM TINY Tsawwassen, less than a half hour's drive outside Vancouver; and from Ottawa, the nation's capital; and from Cole Harbour, a country away from the medal stand. The players and coaches of Team Canada represent seven provinces, 27 hometowns and two native languages—not to mention 16 NHL teams—each of the medal winners having taken a different journey to their shared destination in 2010. The men who brought home the gold are listed here geographically by hometown, from West to East.
