Crystal, a senior at Cascade High, became the first Oregon swimmer to win the same two events at the state Class 4A--1A championships four years in a row, beating the field in the 200-yard IM (2:07.15) and setting a meet record in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.92). Crystal won 59 of 60 races (excluding relays) in her career. She has signed with Oregon State.

Silas Kisorio

ELDORET, KENYA > Track and Field

Kisorio, a junior at Oklahoma Christian, won the 800 meters (1:51.42) and set a meet record in the mile (4:03.69) at the NAIA indoor national championships. He also ran the mile leg for the distance-medley relay team, which finished third. Kisorio was the 2009 NAIA cross-country champion and was the outdoor 800 champion last spring.
