A SINGLER EFFORT

Kyle Singler, the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, exults in a shower of confetti after playing every minute of Duke's 61-59 national championship victory over Butler. Singler and Jon Scheyer were the second duo in school history (after Shane Battier and Jason Williams in '01) to each score more than 700 points in the same season.

DEVIL'S DANCE

Coach Mike Krzyzewski embraces the Duke mascot after reaching the end of the road to the title. With this fourth championship, Coach K is now tied with Kentucky's Adolph Rupp for second-most NCAA Division I titles and extends his records for NCAA tournament wins to 77 and games coached to 99.

JUST LIKE DAD

Junior Nolan Smith helps cut down the net in the same city where his father, the late Derek Smith, did so after Louisville's national title 30 years ago. "This means the world," said the younger Smith, who was named to the All-Final Four team in Indianapolis after his own championship-winning game. "I give this to my dad."
