Sarie, a senior at Lake Highlands High, won the all-around competition (78.175) at the state meet for the third straight year, helping the Wildcats to the team title. The next day she swept the individual events: bars (9.925), beam (9.850), floor exercise (9.900) and vault (9.875). Sarie will compete for LSU.

Lorenzo Cava
QUITO, ECUADOR > Tennis
Cava, a senior at Bentley, was named the Northeast-10 Conference player of the year, then led the Falcons to the conference tournament title. He finished the season with records of 26--1 in singles and 18--5 in doubles. Cava also received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division II Arthur Ashe Jr. Award for sportsmanship and leadership.
Michelle Morris
LA CAÑADA, CALIF. > Equestrian
Morris, a sophomore at Georgia, helped the Bulldogs win the Varsity Equestrian national championships by 24.5 points, beating Texas A&M's Elizabeth Solch by 30 points in Equitation on the Flat during a sudden-death ride-off. Morris, who went 16-5-1 in the Flat during the season, also won the individual title in the event.
