FANTASY FOOTBALL 2010
AS EVERY FANTASY OWNER KNOWS, ROOKIE SEASONS can be hit or miss. Last year was the rookie season for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's Fantasy Football issue, and we hope that our debut year was closer to Eric Dickerson's than Ki-Jana Carter's.
We learned a lot from 2009 and have returned bigger and better in 2010. In this year's edition, you'll find breakdowns on 470 players and 53 sleepers, both increases over '09. In addition, we've beefed up one of the best received parts of the magazine, our exclusive Enemy Lines section—in which NFL assistant coaches dish on rival players—to give you more inside information on who, and who not, to pick. (Who: Felix Jones. "If he stays healthy," one coach says, "he's going to score 20 touchdowns.")
However, we think the biggest improvement is the addition of the pullout Cheat Sheet. On draft day, peel those pages out of the magazine and lay them in front of you. You'll be organized and ready to terrorize.
But to begin, dive into the Quick Setup Guide, the section that helps you assemble an informed fantasy team without having to pore through the rest of the issue. Let's be clear though. Reading just the Guide is an option, not a recommendation, because with all of the changes we've made in Year Two, you'd really be missing out.
