One of just three Eagles over the age of 30 to survive the off-season youth movement, Akers ranked second in the NFL in scoring for the second straight season and tied Jay Feely for the lead with 11 field goals of 40 to 49 yards. (He missed just twice from that distance.) The quarterback switch to Kevin Kolb should mean a less efficient offense and more kicks for Akers.
