A 4-year-old colt named Blame won his fifth race in a row at the Whitney Handicap at Saratoga last Saturday, making him an early Breeders' Cup fave. In other blame-centric news NFL ref Bill Leavy bit the bullet last week, admitting that two of his wrong calls hurt the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL.
POWERS HAWKS SHOES
Obnoxious? Yup. But he's our kind of jerk. Kenny Powers—he of HBO's post-baseball-career comedy, Eastbound and Down (actor Danny McBride in real life, right)—is bloody brilliant as the pitchman for K-Swiss's Tubes shoes, which, he boasts, have "enough support to melt your face off."
