His effort helped the Apaches, ranked No. 1 in the nation, take the team title in a meet-record time of 75:16. Ammar also won the three-mile Woodbridge Cross Country Classic and the 5K Stanford and Clovis invitationals. Lindsay Harmon LAKE OSWEGO, ORE. > Golf Lindsay, a senior at Valley Catholic High, shot a 146 to win the two-day Palouse Ridge at Washington State University Junior Open by two strokes. In August she set a course record (61) at Santiam Golf Club to finish 13 under par and win the Oregon Golf Association junior title. Lindsay is the two-time state champion for classes 1A through 4A.
