Bermuda Versus Bent

Most any golfer will say that the difference between bermuda and bentgrass greens is like night and day. Bermuda is grainy and bumpy, while bent is smooth and slick, which would suggest that bent is easier to putt on. The truth is, there's not a lick of difference between bermuda and bent when it comes to scoring. According to the stats, the pros do make a few more long putts on bent greens, but they miss more short ones, so the numbers even out.
