Y.E. Yang stunned Tiger, but Westwood was in the hunt all week, finishing tied for third.
2009 British Open
In arguably his biggest disappointment, Westwood, figuring he needed a birdie at the 72nd hole to catch Tom Watson, three-putted from 60 feet. Watson bogeyed the last and lost in a playoff to Stewart Cink.
Westwood took the lead into the final round and shot 71, only to be overtaken by Mickelson.
2010 British Open
Westwood beat 154 players, but he was no match for Oosthuizen, who won by seven.
