Throughout the wild 2011 playoffs—three of the Bruins' series went to seven games—Thomas kept his cool under the fire of some of the league's most potent offenses. He broke the record for saves in a postseason, yet another distinction that wouldn't have been worth dreaming about six years ago.
Now he, and everyone else, can truly believe: Tim Thomas has finally made it.
