In Will Muschamp's parlance, the 6' 4", 250-pound Powell plays Buck: He's a hybrid defender who'll operate out of a three-point stance or on his feet depending on the situation. Muschamp has modeled the position on how Jason Taylor played with the Dolphins.

RB TREY BURTON SOPHOMORE

As a fullback--wildcat quarterback last season, Burton was Florida's most versatile offensive player. He isn't expected to play QB anymore, but he could line up at running back, tight end and receiver.

A variety of skills means multiple options

The 6' 3" 237-pounder played some quarterback as a redshirt freshman in 2010, but Reed has moved to a full-time tight end--H-back position that should allow him to use his size and speed to create matchup nightmares in the passing game. In addition Reed, a product of New London (Conn.) High, still has a bazooka arm that can be utilized for trick plays.
