QB TYLER BRAY SOPHOMORE

The rising sophomore caused some concern in Knoxville with an ugly 5-for-30 performance in the spring game. But he has time to get back to his form of 2010, when his passer rating (142.73) ranked third nationally among FBS freshman QBs.

DT MALIK JACKSON SENIOR

The USC transfer shifted from end to tackle in midseason and became a presence. Ten of his team-leading 11 tackles for loss came after the position change, as did all five of his sacks.

FS PRENTISS WAGGNER JUNIOR

Bouncing from safety to corner last fall, Waggner set a school record and led the nation by taking three interceptions to the end zone. He'll return to safety in a secondary that is stocked with veterans.
