He led Arkansas in 2010 with four interceptions and four forced fumbles. In the 24--17 victory over Texas A&M, Thomas had seven tackles, a fumble recovery and a final-play end zone interception.

RB-KR DENNIS JOHNSON JUNIOR

Johnson redshirted last year after suffering a season-ending bowel injury on Sept. 11. His return gives the Hogs a special teams weapon: In 2009 Johnson set the school record for single-season kick-return yardage (1,031), and he also owns the career mark (1,936).

Back and ready to resume his upward course

Already well established, Childs can have the season for which he was on track in 2010—if he remains healthy. Injured against Vanderbilt last season, he missed the final five games after having surgery on his right knee. Childs averaged 82.4 yards receiving and, even with the late-season absence, finished tied for the team lead with six TD receptions.
