Jake, a sophomore at Pembroke Pines Charter High, defeated a field of 76 over a 45-mile course in Augusta, Ga., for the 15--16 age group title at the U.S. National Road Race Championship. Racing on the zMotion junior team, he mounted a final uphill attack with five miles to go and won by 33 seconds. Jake won the Florida State Criterium title for all 15- and 16-year-olds in May.

Trinity, a senior at St. Mary's High, won gold in the 100-meter hurdles at the World Youth Championships in Lille, France, with a wind-legal U.S. youth record of 13.11 seconds—the second-fastest youth time in history. In June she won the same event at the USA Junior Championships; in February she ran the fourth-fastest 60-meter indoor hurdles in U.S. high school history (8.28).
REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. > Fencing
Isaac, a junior at Summit Prep Charter High, defeated Peter Pak of Roslyn, N.Y., to win a gold in men's under-16 saber at the North American Cup in Reno. He also tied for bronze in the under-19 age group and won team gold and silver in seniors and under-19 competition, respectively, to win medals in all of his saber events. Isaac is a member of the U.S. Cadet World Cup team.
