AUG. 20: Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) vs. Chaparral (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
Expect a shootout when these two meet in Phoenix. Both teams averaged more than 46 points last year, and Chaparral's Connor Brewer (right) and Davonte Neal are one of the country's most dangerous quarterback-receiver tandems.
AUG. 27: South Panola (Batesville, Miss.) at Hoover (Hoover, Ala.)
Mississippi's defending champ meets Alabama's 2010 runner-up, led by two of the nation's top young coaches, South Panola's Lance Pogue and Hoover's Josh Niblett.
SEPT. 2: Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) at Glades Central (Belle Glade, Fla.)
The last time these two defensive powerhouses met, in 2009, Glades Central won 21--7 despite getting just five first downs. Though the faces are different, expect this year's contest to be similarly stifling.
SEPT. 23: De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) at St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale)
Talk about mirror images. Both teams were 14--0 last season, both are 12--1 in their respective state playoffs since 2008. And perhaps most important, both are reloaded for another title run this season. Something has to give.
OCT. 8: Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) vs. St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio)
A showcase of blue-chip recruits, featuring more than a dozen players with scholarship offers from Division I programs—including seniors Kyle Kalis, Tyler Orlosky and Sam Grant from St. Edward—will meet at West Point, N.Y.
