Ryan GRANT PACKERS
GRANT WAS a solid fantasy backup until early last year, when he suffered ligament damage in his right ankle. He's reportedly 100%, but a now-proven James Starks makes it less likely that Grant will put up numbers worthy of a high draft pick.
Maurice JONES-DREW JAGUARS
JACKSONVILLE'S WORKHORSE back had off-season surgery to repair a damaged meniscus in his right knee, on which he ran almost all of last season. He went through limited drills early in camp, so keep on top of this if you're willing to gamble on MJD.
Darren MCFADDEN RAIDERS
MCFADDEN ALWAYS seems to have bad knees, bad hamstrings, a bad something. Now he has a bad orbital bone, which incurred a small fracture early in camp. The good news is that he should be back for the start of the season. It's O.K. to roll with Run DMC.
