ENEMY lines WHAT A RIVAL COACH SAYS
"I BET DENVER goes back to traditional football: running the ball. New coach John Fox was really big on that in Carolina, and the Broncos have a good running back in Knowshon Moreno.
Moreno will have a bounce-back season. He got off to a slow start last year while battling hamstring injuries. But when he's healthy, as in 2009, he can be really good.
The Broncos brought in Willis McGahee to spare hits on Moreno. I think that McGahee becomes the goal line back, but I doubt that he'll take a significant number of carries away from Moreno.
I think the coaches will go back to Kyle Orton at quarterback over Tim Tebow. I know Tebow had some success last year, but as a defensive coach I'd rather face Tebow. Orton is an efficient NFL quarterback. Tebow hasn't shown the ability to consistently make throws—some of them are really embarrassing.
Orton has enough weapons to have a decent season statistically. Brandon Lloyd really stepped up his game last season, but a lot of his jump in production was a result of the team's losing Brandon Marshall in the off-season. Someone had to catch the balls that Marshall left behind.
I see the Broncos finding a way to utilize Eddie Royal more, especially now that Jabar Gaffney is no longer there. Royal's a tough matchup one-on-one in the slot because of his quickness. ... Keep an eye on Eric Decker. He's going to play a lot more this year.
Tight end was a problem for them last year, which is why they drafted two guys and signed two others. I don't expect any of them to be relevant in the passing game."
