SARAH WILKEY

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. > WATER POLO

Sarah, a goalkeeper and recent graduate of Newport Harbor High, led the Huntington Beach Water Polo Club to a 7--0 record and the gold medal at the Junior Olympics in Irvine, Calif. She had 11 saves and two steals to help defeat top-seeded Santa Barbara 6--5 for the Platinum division (18-and-under) title. In February, Sarah was named most outstanding goalie at the Southern California high school championships. She is bound for UCLA this fall.

CODY PROVEAUX

LEESVILLE, S.C. > GOLF

Cody, a senior at Pelion High, drained a 15-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win the Junior PGA golf championship in Fort Wayne, Ind. He finished at six-under-par 282 to defeat Honolulu's Lorens Chan by a single stroke. In May, Cody was named Class 2A MVP after winning his second straight individual state title and leading the Panthers to their first team title. He has committed to Clemson in 2012.

OLIVIA GUGLIEMINI

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. > SAILING

Olivia, a freshman at Southern Regional who sails for Brant Beach Yacht Club, won the Top Midget Sailor trophy (under-15) for the second straight year at the Youth Sunfish North American Championship held amid winds of up to 20 knots in Barrington, R.I. She is the only sailor to win back-to-back titles in the trophy's 21-year history. Olivia, age 13, was also the top female finisher in the youth category (under-19), placing sixth overall, to win the Top Opposite Gender trophy.
