1 Houston (457.1 yards per game)

The architect of the Cougars' offense, former coordinator Dana Holgorsen—who left in 2010 to become offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State—was an assistant under Leach at Tech from 2000 through '07.

2 Oklahoma State (387.6)

The Cowboys went from 99th in passing offense in 2009 to second last season after hiring Leach pupil Holgorsen from Houston to revamp the offense.

3 Oklahoma (380.9)

When coach Bob Stoops was hired in 1999, he tabbed Leach to install the spread. Leach's QB his one season in Norman? Current Sooners play-caller Josh Heupel.

4 Arizona (370.1)

From 2005 through '08, Wildcats coordinator Seth Littrell served as running backs coach at Texas Tech under Leach.
