1939 AN Old-Timers' Game on July 12 assembles greats from baseball's early years, among them Grover Cleveland Alexander, Home Run Baker, Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker and Cy Young, as well as Kid Nichols and Jack Ryan, teammates on the 1894--96 Boston Beaneaters. The NL Old-Timers beat the AL's 8--4.
