DAN PATRICK ... KICKS IT WITH ALEX MORGAN
DAN PATRICK
February 17, 2012
The bodypainted Olympics-bound forward, who scored two goals for the U.S. in last summer's World Cup, would like to play a TV corpse one day
DP:
More nervous playing in a World Cup final or posing basically naked?
AM: Definitely posing naked. My job is to go out on the soccer field and perform. I've only done photo shoots on a few occasions, and never naked.
DP:
Did anyone surprising reach out to you after the World Cup?
AM: I was at the Entourage premiere and I saw Mark Wahlberg. I was wondering, Should I go up to him and say hi, but he came up to me and congratulated me. He told me that he and his girls were watching the whole World Cup, and that it was great for his girls to look up to a role model like me rather than young adults like Lindsay Lohan. I thought that was awesome.
DP:
Have you had any acting opportunities?
AM: I've been given a few, but unfortunately it hasn't been able to work out with my schedule.
DP:
What kind of roles?
AM: I don't know if I should say specifically, but a crime investigation sort of thing. But it would be a very small role, because I am absolutely horrible at acting. I'd be one of those background people who don't say anything and just nod.
DP:
How about this: You play a corpse on CSI?
AM: I could do that. It'd probably be best—they wouldn't have to keep everyone there all night trying to get the scene.
