While only three teams—the Nets, Mavs and Lakers—appear in the running for the top prize, point guard Deron Williams, these free agents will drum up interest this summer
WHO WANTS HIM
The Hornets want to keep him; the Spurs, Heat and Bucks will inquire.
O.J. MAYO G
Grizzlies
A restricted free agent, he lost his starting job last season, and Memphis has shopped him before the last two trade deadlines. Mayo is a durable combo guard who can score (career 15.2 points per game), and he would benefit from a change in scenery.
WHO WANTS HIM
The Pacers or the Bulls are the most likely landing spots.
RAY ALLEN SG
Celtics
Allen's troublesome ankle caused his three-point shot to go south in the postseason (26.9%), and his relationship with Rajon Rondo has created tension in the locker room. Before the trade deadline Boston nearly moved Allen; the emergence of Avery Bradley makes him expendable.
WHO WANTS HIM
Sources say the Heat and the Knicks are at the top of Allen's list.
