ENEMY lines WHAT A RIVAL COACH SAYS

"I DON'T SEE A scenario in which Eli Manning's production drops at all. After five years in the same offense with the same coordinator, he has become so knowledgeable about the scheme; he knows where he's going with the ball once it's snapped.

In this offense, which is almost like the run-and-shoot, the slot receiver has to make a ton of plays, which is why I think Victor Cruz will again have better numbers than Hakeem Nicks. Cruz is a great receiver inside and a strong runner after the catch. But Nicks will be the main red zone target because the Giants love to throw the ball to the outside and toward the pylon.... Either Ramses Barden, who the Giants were looking to use last year, or Domenik Hixon will benefit from Mario Manningham's moving on. Rookie Rueben Randle probably won't get much playing time with so many veteran receivers, though I wouldn't be surprised if they played more four-wide sets this season.

Martellus Bennett has size and speed and is the prototypical Giants tight end, but he's not a natural pass catcher, and he has maturity issues. His ticket may be as a blocker. Travis Beckum is the better receiver.

Ahmad Bradshaw is not built to be a workhorse back. He'll get about the same number of carries [171] that he did last year. That's why I think one of the backups will have an impact, either Da'rel Scott or rookie David Wilson. Wilson is pretty dang good."
